I've finished with my temporary teaching position and have moved back home. Before I moved on, however, my students saw a picture of me at my undergrad graduation and encouraged me to go back blonder. So that's what I did once I was back in town to my trusted stylist, Sharon. Too bad they won't get to see it!

After:
I had my stylist straighten my hair as well, since I rarely have the patience to do it myself (it takes about an hour).

What I Wore: Arizona Wedding
My current lifestyle doesn't include many formal occasions, so I'm always excited to have an opportunity to put together an evening ensemble. Here's what I wore to my Cousin Maggie's wedding. It's Tucson, so the weather was in the mid '90s, so I decided to go with a satin cocktail-length dress by ASOS Curve.
Here's the price price breakdown, I thought I did a pretty good job, budget-wise:
ASOS Dress $70
Annie Shoes $50
Betsey Johnson Earrings $25
ASOS Bracelet $18
Vintage Purse $5
__________
Total $168
After the jump, my parents outfits and my red carpet-inspired updo!
| ASOS Curve Dress, ASOS Bangle, Vintage '60s purse, Andrea Jovine sunglasses |
| Zappos: Annie Venita |

Style Icon: Lindsay Bluth Fünke
Bringing opera gloves back!
Isn't this genius?! You can see the rest of the Bluth Family paper dolls here.
Lindsay was even recognized as a trendsetter by her peers. Since I am not a hair expert, I will not elaborate on her numerous amazing coifs, other than to mention that they are numerous and amazing. In my other posts you can read more about Lindsay and her cream leather booties, sunglasses fur and leather, robes, and nature.
After the jump, what to wear to visit your Dad in prison...
